Ooh La La! My sweet Madeline turned one and it was only fitting that I recreated the Madeline books by Ludwig Bemelmans. After all, I did get the inspiration for my daughter’s name from my favorite childhood books! Everyone had fun celebrating madeline’s birthday. My brother is an amazing artist and put together the mural for me, copying little scenes from the different madeline books. All the children painted the mural with watercolor paints! The beautiful cake was done by Pierre’s cakes, which not only looked amazing but tasted even better! The frosting is not a fondant, rather its chocolate, which is their specialty. The madeline tutu that my baby girl wore was from Etsy by whimsy ranch. I bought the invitations from Loralee Lewis and I made the invitation envelopes with felt and red velvet ribbon. I found the cutest cafe on Etsy by little play spaces which was a hit! I also had a balloon maker and face painter come to complete the fun! All the decor items; milk bottles, french bottle rack, vanity, cage, cakes stand, baby tubs and glitter banner are from my company Pretty Vintage Table. I hope this inspires you as you plan your party!
