It’s so exciting when our amazing planners have their own celebrations! We were over the moon when Kristi of Mindy and Co Events was having a baby boy! Kristi and Garner are one of Calamigos Ranch’s own and we were honored to be apart of the anticipation of their little bundle. Kristi thought of everything including a perfume bar where people could make their own perfume. My favorite was our baby buggy overflowing with stunning blooms from Marcia McCann of McCann Florist! Ellice Boone captured every magical detail. Malibu Cafe, which is tucked inside Calamigos Ranch, is a delicious scenic oasis for any occasion. We wish Kristi and Garner a lifetime of wonder with their sweet boy!
With the anticipation of fall in the air, we were thrilled to be apart of this dreamy, autumn inspired soiree at the charming Triunfo Creek Vineyards.
The warm, rich ambience of the evening was achieved by using our beautiful vintage furniture and decor accessories. Alexandra Rembac and her team at Sterling Engagements, produced and styled the event, where she asked us to create inviting lounge areas that welcomed guests to enjoy themselves. The tables were adorned with our antique bottles, trunks, trophies, and champagne buckets filled with beautiful floral arrangements created by Shawna Yamamoto. Contemporary Catering‘s food looked and smelled divine and the chef’s selections were delicious! Ryan Phillips captured amazing photographs (below) documenting the event.
Every part of the night was beautiful and romantic and we were happy to be a part of it.
Everything about the day was enchanting…the sweet couple, the perfect location, and the elegant, vintage style.
We were first introduced to this lovely couple through Emily, owner of Anna Delores Photography. Emily had gushed about how wonderfully kind and joyful this couple was and how deeply they loved each other. We couldn’t agree more! The images that Emily took truly capture their romance and the stunning details.
This charming farm house wedding was set amidst the grounds of the bucolic McCormick Home Ranch in Ventura County. The colonial style home with its idyllic country feel was the perfect location for the day. Rich sapphire blues, emerald greens, blush pink and touches of gold details added a timeless flare. The wedding was coordinated and styled by the wonderful Jennifer of Jennifer Jeanne Events. Jennifer’s skillful touch was evident in the natural way the day unfolded and the graceful and artful way every detail was displayed.
We hope that you are as inspired as we are with the way our vintage pieces truly made this amazing couples vision be realized. Romance is timeless.
We love our vintage buffets! One of the best things about our vintage rental venture is seeing how different people use the same piece. Everyone is so creative! This post will share our Simone Taupe French Buffet used by 3 different clients, 3 different ways. Hope it is inspiring and stimulates you to think about the creative ways you can use our pieces!
The first way that our Simone Buffet was used was as a dessert cake table. We also have a lovely variety of cake stands and trays.
The second way that our Simone Buffet was used was as a sign in table at the entrance to the ceremony. I love how they utilized the drawer, too!
And, the third way that a client used our Simone Buffet was at the front of their ceremony, as the focal point. So pretty!
We invite you to browse thru our website inventory and think about creative ways to use our pieces. Give us a call if you’d like to come in and visit!

Okay, confession … we watch The Bachelor. So, when we received a call for a wedding that was going to be held at the beautiful Malibu Estate, Villa de la Vina (you’ll recognize the house, if you watch The Bachelor too!) we were pretty excited. The couple was so lovely and it was a joy working with them and their fabulous planners, Esther and Shirin from Fletcher & Ellmore Events. You’ll see in the beautiful images that they truly used the property well, creating beautiful intimate lounge vignettes throughout, for over 50 guests. The groom even helped design his cigar lounge! We are so honored that this spectacular wedding was published in Munaluchi Bride Magazine.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Even with all of the gifts opened and the holiday meals prepared and eaten, I look around my house with a smile. I love everything about Christmas and New Year! A house full of family, love expressed, blessed with eternal peace from our Savior, it doesn’t get better. And, as we approach the New Year, I want it to be a time to breathe (whew, it was a busy year!) and reflect. I don’t make resolutions, but always think about the year to come and want to fill it with more … more beauty, more time with family and friends and more exercise (always!).
We want to thank all of our clients this year and the wonderful vendors that we have the pleasure to work with. You make our work fun and joyful and always support us in our quest to make every event more beautiful and charming!
Can’t wait to see what 2015 brings and we are so excited to bring our new vintage rentals to you!
It’s that time of year where we all gather around the table to celebrate the gift of dear family and friends. Fall is my favorite for it’s color palette, warm soups and cozy fires. We had the pleasure of being a part of this beautiful stylized shoot to inspire your fall senses! Not only were we featured in Focus Magazine but Also on Style Me Pretty! We worked with an amazing team of vendors who all made this shoot stunning. Tali of Pretty Lil Details made sure each and every detail was perfect. Betsi Ewing has an effortless ability to find the perfect shots through her lens. Sharon of Knot Just Flowers created exquisite masterpieces that you wanted to freeze in time. Aidan Of One up Entertainment had a way of making you feel like you were in your living room having a chat with a good friend, though you were actually being interviewed on camera. It was a really fun day and we are thankful to be in an industry with such amazing talent! Hope this inspires you to do something new for your holiday tables!
We were over the moon when we were contacted by celebrity stylist David Tutera to be part of his daughter’s first birthday party! Cielo was turning one and she had to have the most amazing celebration ever!
When we learned that the theme was Cielo in ONEderland, a cute spin on Alice in Wonderland, we were so excited. What is the first thing you think of in Alice in Wonderland? Of course it’s the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party! We immediately knew he had to have our Tea Party things! So we pulled out our mismatched china, tea cups and saucers, tea pots, pink goblets, vintage silverware and 3 tiered stands. For table decor, David chose some vintage clocks (of course!) vintage tea tins, milk glass bowls and vintage sewing machine drawers and our ornate silver salt shakers. As you’ll see in the video, David created his own flower arrangements and used our pieces to fill with floral color.
David loved the idea of using our vintage upholstered chairs to mix into the seating at the tables and it completed the look of the Mad Hatter Tea Party. We met David, as we were bringing our chairs into his beautiful Beverly Hills backyard, and chatted with him. He is one of the nicest, most gracious people ever! What a pleasure to be part of Cielo’s special day!
We love Alice in Wonderland and it’s so funny how the quotes have become a part of our lives and we don’t even realize it, “curiouser and curiouser”!
