There is nothing quite like the fresh, airy anticipation of romance in the springtime. Jenny and Patrick’s outdoor wedding at The 1909 in Topanga Canyon was so lovely – a day full of sunshine and carefree happiness. We loved the couple’s organic style and how it blended with our vintage furniture to create an effortlessly beautiful event.
The photographs below were taken by the fantastic Kate Weinstein and were also featured on the blog Once Wed. We were smitten with use of our lounge furniture indoors as the beautiful bride and her party were getting ready. And, we were thrilled that Style Me Pretty loved the beautiful wedding as well ~ for more images, take a look at their blog! Love was definitely in the air!

Dreams of “true love’s kiss” and “happily ever after” have inspired us to sigh and swoon since we were young girls. And, to be a part of a fairytale inspired styled shoot, brought us instantly back to that sweet, starry-eyed place.
This romantic shoot was imagined and styled by Cassidy and Nina of RAE & MOORE Events. Our pretty vintage pieces added the whimsy and timelessness that these amazing women were wanting and really helped bring their vision to life. Emily of Anna Delores Photography captured the enchanting concept beautifully in the photographs below.
The color palette was perfectly romantic with a blend of burgundy, ruby red, and blush pinks and a lush array of verdant leaf sprays. The flower arrangements were created by Knot Just Flowers and were absolutely stunning. All this magic was set amidst the dramatic garden backdrop of Hartley Botanica. The filtered light through the treetops really gave the enchanted feeling of a fairytale about to unfold.
The bride wore a dazzling Monique Lhuillier gown that was a soft blush and had intricate details and textures that caught the light and gave the illusion of floating as she moved. It was an absolute inspiration!
And the best part…the bride and groom actually tied the knot shortly after! Love and anticipation was definitely in the air. We love happy endings!

When Sunmee and Jason were planning their summer wedding at Eden Gardens, we knew that it was going to be amazing! Their vision and ideas were great and their attention to details made it extra special. Eden Gardens is such a beautiful venue, with its lush plants, intimate pathways, and stunning ponds, it was perfect!
Their color palette was fresh with soft aquas, blush pinks, and flecks of gold. The use of our charming vintage items brought special allure to the wedding day, and mingled well with the the hint of beachy charm speckled throughout. It was almost like you could taste the sea spray in the air. Yamaguchi’s Flowers created lavish floral displays that spread across tables and cascaded down the French Doors and Aqua Arch at the ceremony, and Caroline Tran beautifully photographed the details of the event. Take a look at their custom designed fans, that they put in our 3 tiered stand – how cute are those with an artist’s rendering of the new Mr. & Mrs. What an absolutely beautiful day!
With the anticipation of fall in the air, we were thrilled to be apart of this dreamy, autumn inspired soiree at the charming Triunfo Creek Vineyards.
The warm, rich ambience of the evening was achieved by using our beautiful vintage furniture and decor accessories. Alexandra Rembac and her team at Sterling Engagements, produced and styled the event, where she asked us to create inviting lounge areas that welcomed guests to enjoy themselves. The tables were adorned with our antique bottles, trunks, trophies, and champagne buckets filled with beautiful floral arrangements created by Shawna Yamamoto. Contemporary Catering‘s food looked and smelled divine and the chef’s selections were delicious! Ryan Phillips captured amazing photographs (below) documenting the event.
Every part of the night was beautiful and romantic and we were happy to be a part of it.
Everything about the day was enchanting…the sweet couple, the perfect location, and the elegant, vintage style.
We were first introduced to this lovely couple through Emily, owner of Anna Delores Photography. Emily had gushed about how wonderfully kind and joyful this couple was and how deeply they loved each other. We couldn’t agree more! The images that Emily took truly capture their romance and the stunning details.
This charming farm house wedding was set amidst the grounds of the bucolic McCormick Home Ranch in Ventura County. The colonial style home with its idyllic country feel was the perfect location for the day. Rich sapphire blues, emerald greens, blush pink and touches of gold details added a timeless flare. The wedding was coordinated and styled by the wonderful Jennifer of Jennifer Jeanne Events. Jennifer’s skillful touch was evident in the natural way the day unfolded and the graceful and artful way every detail was displayed.
We hope that you are as inspired as we are with the way our vintage pieces truly made this amazing couples vision be realized. Romance is timeless.
Memories of springtime in France … a warm breeze, beautiful hillsides covered with grapevines, a picnic, and a romantic rendezvous. These were some of the things that inspired this delightful vintage wedding styled shoot we were excited to be part of.
Saddlerock Ranch & Vineyards, in Malibu was the perfect venue. Saddlerock is one of our favorite locations for weddings and is known for it’s picturesque scenery, hillside vineyards and delightful wine.
Kimberly Paolone of K. Rae Events styled the shoot with visions of romance and springtime. She chose colors of pink, soft peach, cream and a touch of burgandy and planned all of the details. We loved her choices and all of the vendors we collaborated with!
Valerie Tabor Smith brilliantly photographed the day with such emotion and her romantic point of view. We love her images!
Laurie and Heather of Unique Floral Designs created the amazing floral arrangements that truly made the images come to life and complete the vision. We believe in flowers!
What is more french than macarons? Frost It Cakery created a beautiful wedding cake with macarons in blush pink, eclairs and tarts (very french!) They made the dessert buffet just perfect.
In the images, you’ll see our vintage blue Bicycle, vintage Garden Gate, Lovebird heart chair, pink Poppy Buffet, Madeline and Josette Chairs, our Magnolia sweetheart table and of course our vintage mismatched china, goblets and silverware. And, our jadite cake stands and vintage tin riser were just right for holding the sweets.
Enjoy the inspiration and feel the warm breeze!
We love our vintage buffets! One of the best things about our vintage rental venture is seeing how different people use the same piece. Everyone is so creative! This post will share our Simone Taupe French Buffet used by 3 different clients, 3 different ways. Hope it is inspiring and stimulates you to think about the creative ways you can use our pieces!
The first way that our Simone Buffet was used was as a dessert cake table. We also have a lovely variety of cake stands and trays.
The second way that our Simone Buffet was used was as a sign in table at the entrance to the ceremony. I love how they utilized the drawer, too!
And, the third way that a client used our Simone Buffet was at the front of their ceremony, as the focal point. So pretty!
We invite you to browse thru our website inventory and think about creative ways to use our pieces. Give us a call if you’d like to come in and visit!
